So much time was spent on the lanai because being surrounded by all the lush vegetation felt like you were in a secluded forest, complete with all the sights and sounds. This place was the highlight of our time in Volcano. All the decorations were tasteful and I appreciated all the books on Hawaii. Such a lovely place. I hope to come back soon!"

"Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up."

"We had a great stay in this new house about 25 minutes from Hilo. The house is comfortable and modern and had all the amenities that kept our family of 6 comfortable during our stay. It’s a short 3 minute drive down to the water and some amazing sunrises over the ocean with waves crashing on the rocks. Be a bit cautious pulling into the driveway as there is a lip on it that can damage your car if not taken slowly. Great stay near Hilo!"
