"My family and I stayed here for one night and had a wonderful stay. There were some issues with the bathtub in our room and the hotel staff went above and beyond to fix the issue for us. All the staff were friendly, breakfast was tasty, beds were comfy and the hotel was clean and accomodating for our family. Best part was Gora station was directly across the road for easy transport to do the Hakone scenic loop. Would recommend this hotel to any traveller. "

"Breakfast was so good but only bread and crosent and coffee. If you need to access a supermarket look for Coop supermarket 5 mins drive from this place. Recommend for a small family. "

"Clean and cmfortable rooms, bathroom and showers close by. Mats were thick enough to be comfortable, while still giving an authentic Japanese experience. Not much in the immediate area, but great park and restaurants were a 15 to 30 minute walk. Desk person seemed a bit brisk, but not rude."

"Third time of staying in Atami and also third time in Guesthouse Megumi. Fantastic location - try to book when the fireworks festival is on in mid-July, as you get a fantastic view from the rooftop terrace. The private rooms are simple with shared bathroom/toilet, but that doesn’t bother me. Will stay here again for sure. "

"We stayed here for two nights in one of the small double pods (up the ladder). It was a bigger space than we expected and quite comfortable. The walls are understandably thin, so be prepared to hear people in the rooms around and below you. There are earplugs provided, which is helpful. The staff were all lovely and we really enjoyed our dinner around the fire! We also walked to a nearby onsen and found the location to be very convenient for exploring Hakone. Would definitely recommend! "

"The onsen was amazing and the hotel was right near the beach and cable car to get up to the castle. The shotengai near us became less lively around 8 but you're just a short bus ride up to atami station. "

"We stayed in a double room with mountain view for one night. We hoped to get a good view on Mt. Fuji while soaking in the private Jaccuzi but unfortunately, due to bad weather, there was no view whatsoever. However, the private Jacuzzi was still a very great experience, regardless of the weather. The room was also extremely spacious and clean. "Great traditional Japanese room, very friendly staff, very clean, Onsen in the hotel. Only downside is the shared bathroom, not very big issue for short term stay."
