"Set in the most beautiful area of Upper Wisconsin! Helpful staff, wonderful food at the restaurant. We enjoyed the property and wished we had brought our swimsuits. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly."
"Property is an older motel, so we were not expecting top-of-line features, and were glad to have a place to stay with our dog for the night. There was no one in the office when we arrived @ 6pm, but were able to check in by phone. Luckily we were able to call her back soon afterward, as the lockbox that should have contained a key to our room was empty. Key was delivered later, while we went for dinner, so we kept all our belongings in our vehicle while we were gone.
Overall, room was clean,...
"Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed.
Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop...
"Toilet had drops of urine and hairs on the top of the porcelain, dirty floor in bathroom, strange hairs in and on side of tub. Mold on ice machine where the ice comes out. Carpet in halls dirty. Central air unit in room sounded like a jet taking off whenever it came on. This was my second stay since the first stay was good but I won't be returning anymore"
