"Do not second guess this hotel. Book now!!!! While on a road trip with my son we were looking for budget, and we hit the jackpot here. This hotel is nestled in the middle of Historic Downtown Manistee, about 50 minutes from Sleepy Bear Dunes. This hotel can be termed casual, laid-back. The rooms are roomy, well decorated as you see in the pictures, and very comfortable. There is a chocolate and ice cream shop next door. Down the street a little further is a nice hotdog and hamburger shop with pin ball machines still a quater. Or you can go to some of the fancier places. I wish I had more time to explore this town. I don't know if I'll ever be back. But if I do MIM will be my go to. You just can't go wrong by staying here."
