"We were surprised on arrival to be given an apartment as we had only booked a double room. As we were there for a few nights it was good to have the extra space and kitchen facilities. Everything was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We understand that this is a new venture and there were one or two things that hadn't quite been finished off but overall it was a good stay. We ate in the pub on one night and the food was excellent. Maybe one or two more options for gluten free....
"The Inn looks like it is on it's last legs.
The other 3 pubs in Hawes all were doing a roaring trade over the hot bank holiday , but the Board closed around 7.30pm , had no food and very few clients.
The breakfast in the Cockett next door was very average. Never seen green scrambled eggs before....they were rank and inedible."
"Everything about our stay was wonderful. From the warm welcome from the hosts, to the very clean and beautiful room, to the breakfast, it was all perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Will definitely be back."
"Beautiful converted barn in an idyllic location in the dales. Perfect if you want to switch off from the hustle and bustle but close enough to many intesting places to visit.

"A fantastic warm welcome. Beautiful room with everything we needed. The care put into the room was evident in all the personal details that ensured a comfortable stay. Bed soft and linen gorgeous. Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. Our dog loved it too!"
"We arrived at 4:30pm to find the cabin hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests had left. It took 2 hours for the cabin to be cleaned, we did get a £100 refund but having a 6 month old baby this refund was kind of irrelevant.
The cabin is basically on an unfinished building site. And an unpleasant 15min walk into Gargrave.
The cabin main features are dated, no WiFi, small tvs with only the option of traditional tv channels.
Not much space in the bedrooms.
