Unfortunately there is a plumbing issue so there was often a nasty smell by the poolside and both toilets in our rooms didn’t flush properly."

Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly."

"This has to be the most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The layout of the hotel is so cool and unique. Although the rooms were small, it really has everything that you need. The bed was super comfortable and I got really good sleep. The people at the hotel were super kind, super accommodating and very friendly. I absolutely love the music that they were playing in the background so much that I even asked for the playlist.

"Terrible location if you don’t have a rental. Too far to walk to town or the beach and local taxis and Ubers are unfamiliar with its location in the sticks. No restaurants nearby. This is an eco lodge, meaning, no air conditioning, and boy will you miss hit. You will boil alive in your room. Staff provided an extra fan, which did little to help."
