"The property was was pretty much as expected, The room was clean and big. The issue we had was there did not seem to be sufficent sound deading between the rooms, as we could hear voices from other rooms. Could not hear what they were saying, but could near the noise. Luckily they went to bed about the same time we did and did not wake up before we did, but it not what we wanted or expected. It was in a very isolated location. That was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. ...
"Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile."
"Time were ok. The location of the hotel is in the centre of the city. We visited on the weekend and the nine from nearby pubs went on till late night. The windows are not sound proof. There's lot of outside noise through the night. Probably not on weekdays. Beds were just ok. Sheets were neat and clean."
"Property was excellent, clean and in a great location. The only downside was the glazing in the property wasn’t adequate for its location. You could hear someone clearly talking from the street below, then there was the traffic noise and live music from across the street. Even with earplugs in it’s was very noisy. Such a shame as it really let down what would have otherwise been a very enjoyable stay."
"Good value accommodation, pleasant and comfortable in a good location. Bed was comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped and it was relatively easy to gain access to the property. The proprietor was was helpful when I needed to contact them regarding confirmation."
"Fire alarm went off, couldn’t get in contact with the host at all so the firemen had to override the system. without that the alarm would have went off all night.
no checkout information was given, so wasn’t sure what to do at all.
told to contact a number rather than on the booking site and never heard back.
better places in Lancaster to stay."
"Decent location. Room looked clean enough.
Initially I struggled getting into the room with the key, but managed to get through.
First night was very warm and I didn't sleep well at all. I put a message through to the host about this and received no response.
Was planning to boil some water in the kettle provided but found a dead bug floating about after I boiled. Safe to stay I just went to the shops nearby to get some drinks."
"I stay in hotels most of the year and decided to try something different , would highly recommend this apartment, really comfortable bed, large living room , modern bathroom with large shower,
Full kitchen equipped with everything you need, thought parking was going to be a problem but managed to park on the street close by
