"First off the property is undergoing renovation, as it is one of Kasa's newest properties. The rooms that are finished and able to be stayed in are still brand new furnishings. The bed was amazing and extremely comfortable, and the couch was very comfy, as well. The rooms are modernized, and brought to the 21st century, all the while maintaining the old rustic structure of the brick building. "I liked that the room was clean and had a pleasant scent to it. What I didn't like was a dirty facecloth was left on top of the shower rod from a former customer."

"A throwback small hotel that is in pretty good shape. Large room, comfy bed, and staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. However, other guests were loud, and the walls were (as with older hotels) thin. Combined with the fact you could hear doors closing several rooms away, made for a long night. "

"It was a quiet, clean and cosy apartment. It was convenient to the shops and restaurants of the town. We enjoyed hiking at Lily Bay State Park and on Mt Kineo. We had a wonderful day on the water with a tour of Moosehead on the Kate. Our one suggestion would be a small step stool for shorter people. "
