"I liked that the property is close to other services. Was clean,just the exception of a stale smell in the bathroom but I suppose that is what you get when there are no windows to open in bathrooms. It is an old premier inn."

"Stayed one night at the Shrewsbury rooms from start to finish everything was great we stayed in room one on ground floor well the decor the cleanliness everything was lovely would definitely stay here again. Nice little touch of takeaway cups if you want to leave with a coffee lived this. Only thing is the pillows where a little to firm for me. "The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

"Some sort of food scattered on the floor freezing cold bedroom felt like we were in a refrigerated room. Rail on the stairs was not safe wobbled as you held onto it. Stuff were very pleasing when we arrived. Stayed for an hour and decided to move out to somewhere more suitable the same day."
