"It had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Bedding and towels were clean. There was a shelf unit that was about to collapse and the blinds were knackered and discoloured. The shower was very warm and powerful. Instructions and how to enter the building was emailed to me. But I didn't realise and was expecting a message via WhatsApp or text etc. Tried to call the number on the door and also the other number I had, but couldn't get a reply. "I used it for Download Festival, it’s really close and there’s a bus stop right outside so it was perfect and a bargain for the price. There’s a persistent smell of damp, but I always carry a room spray with me. Other than that, absolute bargain, lovely people, plenty of space and I’d definitely go back."

"Decent on paper, disappointing in reality. The room looked fine in the photos but fell short in person. We were on the ground floor and arrived to a strong smell of cigarettes - the throw blanket had a burn hole in it, suggesting a previous guest had smoked despite the advertised £100 fine. There was pink staining on the shower floor and the only chair had a broken spindle on the back - when I went to move it, the top rail separated entirely from the remaining spindles and I had to pop it back...

"I liked the whole security of the place and the little kettle with condiments offered. I didn't like how there was only 1 flat pillow the stains on the carpets were not great and the walk to the reception especially when the sat back doesn't take you anywhere near is ridiculous. Reception should be close to the accomodation in my opinion. None the less the staff were really helpful with directions and very welcoming"
