"Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. "

Only down point to the room is a floor piece trim could be put down between bedroom and bathroom due to the different height of flooring it’s a toe stubber opportunity. "We were most welcomed on our arrival, everything was explained as regards to amenities. The breakfasts certainly set you up for the day, they were well presented and freshly cooked and came to the table hot, which was bonus. For anyone going to Oxford, we would highly recommend a stay at the River Hotel and very reasonably priced. Thanks for comfortable stay."

"The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area."
