"On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free.
On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. The plugs didn’t all work, the television was hung on a wonk, the light was broken and hanging off the wall. I was woken throughout the night with people banging doors and then at 6am was a fire alarm, I left...
"Staff were really friendly on arrival, had already filled up and heated the hot tub. Room was clean and was lovely to stay in, couldn’t ask for more. Will defiantly use again"
"A magical place tucked away down narrow country lanes in the most beautiful of settings. The view from Skirrid is of ancient wooded slopes. In the evening the skyline turns amber as the sun sets The property is modern and very comfortable with a Scandi feel. It's a perfect place for a peaceful retreat frim frenetic everyday life."
"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way.
Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...
"A great space with excellent entertainment facilities and the hot tub was a lovely bonus.
on a personal note, i think the place is over styled. With the amount of trinkets throughout the house, if the children were with us I would have been nervous of items getting knocked and damaged. I would suggest toning the style and making this a more relaxed environment for a family to enjoy without the worry of breaking something precious to the owner/host."
"Me, my partner and our two dogs stayed at rabbit hill hut for a week this July and honestly couldn't fault it. It had everything you could need. The Shepard's hut was perfect for the 4 of us to sleep, get washed and prepare light meals. The enclosed garden was fantastic for our lurcher and springer spaniel, they loved interacting with the horses and sheep in the next field, and we loved the extra seating area. Only met the host once in passing, he was really lovely to talk to about the area and...
"Loved the location of this property, situated on a farm which was a delight as my kids loved watching the animals. The local
The property itself is a little tired but everything we needed. I would suggest an updated welcome pack to include a little more about the property eg heating, recycling etc.

"Our stay was for a surprise 21st birthday party and we were completely in awe when we arrived.
The drive along the private road is stunning breathtaking views of Abergavenny and surrounded by animals.
The area has such low light pollution, it was lovely to sit outside at night and see the stars so clearly.
The area is private and secure as we had children with us that loved running around outside.
The property has so much space that no one felt on top of me another which was lovely as there as 7...
