The hotel was an ideal place to get to Giverny easily and we enjoyed 2 full days in Giverny, including a visit to Monet's garden and house. The château de Roche Gayon was a most interesting piece of history in the Seine Valley. "

"They sent me a message in advance that even though a human is not at the front desk 24/7 you can get into your room. That means a lot when I've experienced a lot less than that. Another thing good about their keypad locks is that they were very helpful about resetting the combination of my door lock when I misplaced my written card. It took seconds and stopped potential thieves who might find my old card."

Upon arrival in the neighborhood we saw many buildings with broken out windows and people living on the street. The area was trashed out. We saw a drug deal happening in the parking lot of the hotel. "The hotel is a low budget hotel of many years ago. It is not an Ibis style hotel but it is a hotel for a few nights. The beds and the whole hotel is vey clean. The breakfast is a sandwich with jam and drinkable coffee. For the same price you can get a good sandwich and a coke in the petrol station. It is very situated with a tramline nr 2 direct to la defence. So all by all a 7 on 10 scale"

"When we got there, the front office was closed. They have a machine to get your room information, but because I paid through hotels.com, I could not get the information. We had to wait until someone finally came out and helped us. The beds are very stiff and the pillows were flat once you put your head on them. Also, the room was warm even with the air on. Otherwise, it's not a bad hotel. The staff was kind. The room had the basic necessities and the free parking was a major plus."
