"Pleasantly surprised staff were friendly and helpful the restaurant was good with bar games to entertain the kids we stayed for one night whilst visiting family the rooms were clean and comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep thank you"

"Misleading information when booking stated that there was parking. There wasn’t parking at the hotel but on a nearby car park for £56 for the week !"

"Excellent location. Great view. Comfortable room. Outside area could be more presentable."

"Good"

"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"Amazing quiet and beautiful"

"Lovely self contained room, well thought out with everything we needed. Lovely kitchen area, wardrobe, air cooler, immaculate en suite. Great location, and landlord was friendly and gave us tips of where to get breakfast. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely property and friendly hosts. Listing on Hotels.com doesn't state number of dogs allowed, which is actually only one, but host was very understanding and accommodated us and our pets. Well located for exploring the North Devon coastal region, Bideford is lovely and we also had a great day at Westward Ho! Hot tub at the house was most welcome in the evening after a long day exploring the coastal path."

"Good size shower."

To top it all, you have to pay for your own electricity which is not made clear in the particulars invluding the convectors heaters that use up a lot of electricity. I would not choose it again!"

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! We will be returning again in the future."

"I enjoyed my stay. The caravan was clean and tidy and was in a nice position with a view. There was everything you could need for cooking, together with games, dvds, magazines etc. Good to have outdoor space to sit and eat. The site is hilly, maybe not suitable for those with mobility issues. The pool was a nice space. Short walk down (and uphill back) to the beach and cafes etc, great for paddle boarding as it's very sheltered. Great area with lot's of lovely places to visit. Abi was on...
