"The motel looks a little dated in the pictures, but is fully modern when in your room. Very clean, and all the systems (plumbing, electrical) were working just fine."

"Decent size room. Clean for the most part. I'm not sure when the last time the elevator was inspected (the inspection paper said 2021)? Also, the curtain hanger for the shower was hanging down in the middle so the curtain kept falling towered the center of the curtain rod. It was just irritating. "

"Very clean. Accessible room accommodations were wonderful. Bed super comfortable and clean with very nice pillows. Staff is super friendly. Everything you need is readily available. Breakfast was simple but ample and comfortable. New carpet is needed in the room but it wasn’t dirty. Just aging. Would always stay here. So close to the amazing DDay memorial. A must see for all Americans!!"

"I’m thinking for the breakfast area guests should maybe dress a little more appropriately . it’s summer and all with tourism however, you know there’s children to seniors ….. It was perfect for my business trip to the area. Cleanliness and a comfortable bed was wonderful."

"They don’t run the AC in the hallway, elevator or rooms making it feel like a sauna. It took a while for my room to cool down once I turned on the AC bc the AC was off when I arrived. Other then that, it’s not a bad place"

"Inexpensive, rural setting, nice desk staff. No cold water in sink (very hot water , difficult to even wash hands). Toilet wouldn’t refill to flush, had to add water to tank using a paper cup. Small leak from back of sink left puddle on floor. "

"Being next to a university campus and close to Lynchburg I expected some information, a map of the campus and a map of Lynchburg. What I got was "you can look it up online". The desk clerk on duty when we arrived was unaware of a restaurant down University Blvd. Are there any tourist/visitor type magazines advertising local shops I find everywhere I stay? perhaps you should find one."

"For $80 a night I was expecting something updated and without a loose toilet. The toilet was not secured to the floor, the gap under the door took two bath towels to block, but the staff was incredible. "
