Location was good for our purposes. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. The property was worn and not very clean. No smoke detectors.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Obviously from the hair of a small dog, finding small bits of dry dog food, and tiny dog treat, the room had not been adequately cleaned. The fan in the bathroom was loud, the vent to the fan clogged, and there was mildew on the shower curtain. The room had a musky odor. I sprayed to clear that up. The AC worked great, but was aimed at the bed closest to it. I did really love that the covers on the bed actually was long and loose enough to pull up around my shoulders. I would stay again, but only because it was very affordable.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. This is an older hotel that has not been well maintained. The cleanliness level left much to be desired but our bed was clean and we were just there to sleep. One thing that should be remedied asap is the missing smoke alarm in the room.

The place was dusty. The floors were not very clean. The corners of the floors especially in the bathroom had dirt caked in them. The walls had stains on them. The shower head was leaking where it attached to the pipe and the wall around it was stained and peeling. Even the walls in the entrance hallway were starting to peel. The only bright spot were the people at the front desk. They were very pleasant. I will never stay at another Red Roof if this is how these properties are cared for.

It was an amazing experience from check-in to checkout. The front desk was knowledgeable and even gave me a recommendation for a lovely dinner. I highly recommend this Red Roof Inn. I will definitely see you next year when I am in town.

Weekend Trip

The front desk service was amazing. The staff was super friendly and always on top of whatever question or need we had. We were looking for an affordable stay but still with comfort and this place did just that! Not too far from downtown Lynchburg just a 5min drive and a great Mexican place just down the street. We felt safe at the Red Roof and would deifnitley go back.

The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Check in was very easy and the nightly rate was very affordable. The property needs a lot of repair and the building smelled of old cigarette smoke. It's an old property that has seen recent renovations. Fortunately, our room was clean, HVAC worked properly and water was hot in the shower. Bed was comfortable, but could use better pillows. Towels and wash cloths could use an upgrade, as well as complimentary toiletries. However, for the budget minded, our stay was comfortable and would likely stay again.
