"This was an ideal place for an overnight stay before the ferry. Although the room is compact it is comfortable and well-equipped. I emailed before arrival and was sent the code to open the door (although we couldn't get it added to Google wallet, the web app worked fine, which was a relief arriving in torrential rain). Although there is some noise from people coming and going, this did not go on late and we slept really well. Room was clean and had air con. No parking but many car parks in Oban...
"We did not have a good experience for the high price we paid. The communication with the manager was not great and there was no person at the guest house to check in with. The room was tiny..absolutely no place to put 3 large suitcases except on the floor. The room had a chemical smell that did make our friend ill. We had to leave early as she thought it was pneumonia but it was from the chemical smell..she is handicapped. We had to climb in the window to get back in after getting take away for...

Breakfast was unavailable during our stay so unable to comment- we were informed though
Toilet cistern was slow fill and quite noisy

"The Righ was an easy distance from the very heart of Oban. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was convenient to have kitchen and laundry amenities on site. The fact that there were no staff on the premises was no problem during our stay."
"When we realized we would be later than 6pm to check in I was told that the reception would “be quite cross”. Then I got an email saying they want to put their small children to bed…we were only 15 mins late…shameful if you’re running an Inn… also the front patio is covered in dead plants in broken pots. 15 mins work would have it tidied up"
"The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend.

Close to the town centre , which meant i could enjoy a drink which is very rare for me .
My partner complained the bed was too hard , i found it to be fine ( she just likes to complain )
Plenty parking round the back .
