"Extremely disappointing, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The room was exceptionally small, and the bathroom was in an appalling condition, appearing poorly cleaned and maintained. We were allocated a room on the third floor with no lift, meaning we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs after 11pm when arrived extremely tired from a long flight from the UK. We raised our concerns but were simply told, "We are fully booked and can't change your...

"Dated property, is not the quietest place to stay. It's okay to crash in for a night or 2."

"The Royal Hotel is a convenient place to stay. The room is adequate but the Aircon didn’t work and the the shared bathrooms need an upgrade and clean. There are some opportunities for improvement."

"I appreciated the friendly and welcoming service from the staff during my stay. There appeared to be fleas in the bed, which was quite concerning and affected my comfort during the stay. "Great for a one night stay for a concert at Homebush. Once we’d checked out we realised we’d forgotten something and the staff were exceedingly helpful in helping us recover it! Thankyou."

"Close to trains and the main street. Not a far walk into parramatta"

"Super friendly staff who make you feel really welcome. The room was very clean. It’s a little outside the city centre, so you have to walk a bit to get there. But I can definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again"

"Amazing service and easy check-in/check-out. Surprised I could find value this good in such a prime location. Place could do with a good deep clean though, that’s hostels though"

"Great value for money and conveniently located near the metro. "
