"Power cuts, no running hot water and issues with onboarding (the hotel apparently didn't have me on record for even checking in over the weekend) meant that this simple but effective two-day stay was peppered with problems from start to finish."
"Overall, the stay was nice and the property was comfortable. However, the accommodation was quite cold , the heating wasn’t on. There was also no hot water, which was inconvenient. Aside from these issues, we had a pleasant stay."
"There was no breakfast available despite the description stating there was. The bath had no plug & the electric shower was very temperamental (from cold to scalding). The decor left a lot to be desired with nails/screws sticking out of the walls. There wasn’t a TV in each room & bedroom furniture was unstable."
"I had good sleep. The lady making breakfast very friendly makes you feel like home. I booked one day and then added another night. Good for the price, I had to ask for pillows the one was in the room wasn’t to my liking . "
"The room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay, including tea and coffee making facilities in the room!
The hotel itself is situated above a pub which is also lovely, considering this the rooms are very quiet, no noise spillage from downstairs. The staff were extremely helpful and nice.
Somewhere I would definitely stay again!"
"I stayed here previously last year but since then, standards of cleanliness and general upkeep seem to have fallen.
In the bedroom, three of four pillows on the bed had brown marks on them; the dressing table chair had a long brown streaky stain on it (looked like 💩) and in the bathroom, there was no rubber seal on the bottom of the glass shower screen, so water poured out onto the floor when showering. Other minor cosmetic issues included missing tiles under the bathroom sink, and scuffs on...
"Lets start from the entrance, the door broken. The person at the reception was ok, i must admit.
The room? A disaster!! Old floor carpet not clean. The shower old and with signs of wear. The toilet was shaking. The door of the shower room broken. The ceiling had cracks and i woke up in the night as water was dripping from them..
It was a nightmare. Early morning i went to the reception, the person there (a different one) all he could say was that he was sorry.. We left...
NEVER NEVER...
"The divan was to big for the mattress, no bath towel or milk in the room, it hadn't even been hoovered. I went down to the bar to ask for some milk and a towel I got the towel but was told they have any milk, luckily there was a shop near by, for the price i paid i expected better"
"Fantastic little apartments in a lovely location at a reasonable price.
Great friendly pub next door with really good food.
Host couldn't have been more helpful.
Would recommend."
"I like how the informations needed by the guests to access the property were sent via email with proper guidance and direction.
Also, the technology on the door to access the property. The serenity and privacy of the home was good amongst other things.
Also the rooms are clean."
