"Small room. Room light needed to be fixed, curtains were not on correctly and sheets did not really fit the bed. Pretty marginal accommodations for the high price."
"Bank House was perfect for travelling as a family of 3. Stayed 2 nights. Affordable, clean, convenient and walkable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wake up early if you want a hot shower."
"Great location in Inverness. We received a room upgrade which was nice. Great breakfast everyday as well. Iain our host was very accommodating and provided us good information and advice for our stay of 3 days."
"Remember to take soap. My pass key failed on a couple of occasions which was a nuisance, but the staff quickly sorted the problem, It was very hot everywhere - thank goodness there wasn't a heatwave outside. Several maintenance problems - no window blind, a broken cupboard door and wonky toilet roll holder in my room. It was a relatively short, pleasant walk to the retail park where there is also a cinema. It was good to have a bus stop just outside the Halls to take you into Inverness. I...
"Getting the key was difficult because we didn't get the email on time. However, after a short phone call, the staff solved it very quickly.
Staff was very friendly.
When arriving late there is no place to eat nearby so keep that in mind."
"This is a fairly new property and this is reflected in the modern decor, and clean & smart set up. No staff on site but arrangements communicated beforehand in terms of property access and room key collection were faultless. Parking on site so no issues with proximity. We did not have breakfast (book and pay separately if required). River runs behind the property so soothing sound of running (nay rushing) water throughout. Only issue was the green light (fire regs ?) meant the room was not dark...
"Stellar place! can’t say enough good about our stay here, such a lovely location not far from the City Centre but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!"
"Lots of stairs!!! No elevator so be ready to haul luggage!!
But totally worth the price of the stay, rooms were clean and as-expected. Shower was nice. Great location downtown Inverness. Across from an amazing pub with great live music. Close to all the local restaurants, shops, river, and train station. Would stay here again!"
"Jamie's B&B is the perfect place to stay for a break in Inverness. He is welcoming, relaxed and helpful with plenty of good travel tips.
The highlight is the cosy breakfast for all three rooms where you meet your fellow guests round the table and chat.
Rooms are comfortable and well stocked and Jamie is a very flexible host. The guide in the rooms says "you're on holiday so do things in your own time" and you're allowed to do that.
Would definitely stay again if we revisited Inverness."
"The apartment was fine and served its purpose, but it is very basic and has some minor issues — dripping faucets, leaking shower and damaged bathroom floor. We were fine with all this — not expecting a five star hotel, but the pictures are quite deceiving. This building has multiple units and most of the photos are from upstairs which appears much nicer. For instance, I was surprised to find we only had a full size bed. The ad just isn’t clear and it’s partially my error for not paying closer...
"Had everything we needed, close to nice walking trails. Close enough to a bigger Centre for activities but far enough away to be quiet and very relaxing."
"The property is in a great central location...easy access to just about anything.
The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean.
A couple challenges for us...not sure there is anything that can be done but want you to know...the floors in the main bedroom are old (beautiful) wood floors that SQUEAK terribly. Walking to the bathroom at night made so much noise that my partner had to wear ear plugs!
It would be nice if there were instant coffee or something for the morning. There...
