"We loved staying at Rooms and Pool Macaws. It's a beautiful, quaint stay in Uvita. We stayed with our 3 children (13,6,3). The town is rural but that adds to the charm. We walked to the Whale Tale and other places downtown. My kids loved the pool, everything was very clean. We used the kitchen every day and it was so convenient to be able to cook breakfast for the kids and store some dessert for the evening. The room is simple but has everything you need. "the front desk guy was amazing and extremely helpful. Dominical itself is the cutest little surfing town and the center of everything was super close. Fuego next door was fun and delicious. The rooms were big and clean, and the AC worked great. Also enjoyed the shower head/pressure and the hammocks outside the rooms!"

"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests. The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry. We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses. We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"
