"The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area.

"Overall nice stay. The room was small so it was a bit tight to open the baggage and organize, but the bed was confortable. Hot spring was also small, so a bit busy and had to wait for a while to use the shower. Otherwise, breakfast was nice and I liked Heko-Chazuke a lot. Staff were kind and helpful. "
