"The bedding and towels were clean. The room was old. The bed frame was rusty. I always inspect for bugs so I notice. None found. I had made a reservation weeks before asking for no stairs. I was on the 2nd floor. No elevator. Thank goodness the young man carried my luggage upstairs. He was very nice. I booked through Expedia. The reviews were inaccurate. The town had a Corvette parade and rooms were hard to find. I won’t trust Expedia’s reviews again."
"This hotel is not under renovations, it’s under reconstruction!!! Mold and mildew in our room. Lobby is like a construction zone. Folding table for your check in, closet for guest to sign in. No flooring, no walls, no nothing. We got to our room and the mildew smell was so bad I went into an asthma attack. They tried us with another room. The black mold was visible in that room. They are making people sick and need to shut down until the issues are resolved. I feel bad for anyone who stay...
"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Might look into a few more outlets, but really not something that stressed me out. I would still stay at this hotel."
"The room was a little run down and dated, but I was fine with that for the price. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no hot water. We tried at different times throughout the day, and even in the middle of the night. None.
The office was very accommodating when I called ahead to let them know I would be checking in late. However, they were closed all day the next day and night.
The room was reasonably clean and comfortable, but the cold shower was a deal breaker.
This seems to be a place...
"The TV didn’t work until the morning. I tried calling the front desk three times and went to the office twice. Neither times was I able to speak with someone. It was very outdated, but the beds were comfortable. The curtains block the AC, so I would recommend putting something to hold them or you’ll burn up. No ice machine. Just a itty bitty ice maker set at the top of the stairs. It was average stay at best."
"Wish they offered Breakfast but over all it was a decent place and I like how they gave you a key to your room vs a card key. The place was quiet and clean and prime spot close to everything. In the long running it could use some updating but it was nice, comfortable and quiet which is prefect for traveling and getting some sleep while traveling"
"The restaurant is not very helpful for your stay. A slip and a reservation for the restaurant should be given priority to guests. We stayed in the lodge but no one had info about much. Our waitress was the most helpful. We couldn’t reserve or hold a slip so we didn’t chance arriving by boat. We had already reserved because the website says restaurant and dock onsite. But those amenities have nothing to do with the lodge. We couldn’t reserve a table for dinner and waited 45 minutes standing in...
