"Website photos must have been taken 20+ years ago. Homeless people hanging in lobby and parking lot. Dirty, graffiti filled elevator with buttons that didn't work. Room door was previously kicked in with obvious lock/strike plate added due to damage. Duct tape on bottom of door for whatever reason. Brown stains on bathroom walls. Curtains blocked the AC unit and it had the unit grill broken out. Floor was dirty and damaged."

"Confusion of location. It could use some.aupkeep, but it did in a pinch."

"Not a hotel — this is a hostel. The floors are extremely squeaky, and you can hear people walking everywhere, even from other rooms and floors. From around 5 a.m., there was constant noise, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably. Even normal walking created loud creaking sounds that were very disturbing. The building also feels like it has not been renovated in a long time. Housekeeping entered the room, but it was unclear what exactly was being cleaned. Overall, I was not satisfied...

"This place is wonderful. The rooms are a little small but it is an older building. The hot water and ac/ heating in the rooms worked perfectly. We will definitely be coming back. The bar/ restaurant attached to the hotel was also lovely. If you are going to a show at the Fillmore, stay here and walk over!"

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the room was neat and clean and the staff was great. We always enjoy staying at your hotel. thanks !"
