"Beautiful old building with great views. Heck of a climb to the top floor where our rooms were. No lifts and no help with bags. The mattresses were horrible - on all 3 beds. Afraid to speak with manager who checked us in - not friendly at all. Barked at my daughter when she asked for WIFI password (which was not given to us on registration). It was written on a piece of paper at his desk and she was told to read it herself. She thought it was funny how grumpy he was - but I was less than...
"Very clean , nice room. Becuase there were no staff and I had one minor issue i contacted them, and got back to me quickly and helped me. Some of the rooms don’t specify clearly which kitchen utilities there are, and I think that could be useful for some people. Overall, great stay, i recommend if your travelling for work or visiting as it comes with the necessities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, enough toilet roll, towels ect"

"Very friendly staff. Nice pub and restaurant downstairs. Our room was on the street side and above pub outdoor seating, so it was a little noisy. One of our windows didn’t shut completely, which didn’t help. But it quieted down a lot at night. Very clean and comfortable."

"Host not present in arrival, needed to phone to get access to property. Room good with comfortable bed. On suite had half height shower cubicle. Shower head needed cleaning and also no waste bin in ensure.
