"Could have been better if the staff were better"

"La struttura si trova in un complesso di villette con parcheggio nelle vicinanze. La stanza e la casa in generale molto carine, peccato che il bagno seppure privato non fosse in camera (probabilmente non ci abbiamo fatto caso durante la prenotazione), cosa che ne rendeva l'utilizzo scomodo. Segnalo inoltre che le tubature risultavano un po' intasate e che necessitassero di un intervento prima del nostro arrivo."

"Perfectly adequate room in charming village."

"Remember to take soap. My pass key failed on a couple of occasions which was a nuisance, but the staff quickly sorted the problem, It was very hot everywhere - thank goodness there wasn't a heatwave outside. Several maintenance problems - no window blind, a broken cupboard door and wonky toilet roll holder in my room. It was a relatively short, pleasant walk to the retail park where there is also a cinema. It was good to have a bus stop just outside the Halls to take you into Inverness. I...

"Camere ampie e pulite, in zona tranquilla e silenziosa a tutte le ore. Parcheggio interno a pagamento. Peccato che le camere non fossero pronte all'orario previsto per il check in."

"Wonderful staff, great breakfast. Loved the room!"

"Alles bestens, Die Unterkunft wurde in den letzten Jahren erneuert. Es ist nicht mehr die Unterkunft wie es in den alten Bewertungen beschrieben wird. Preis-Leistingsverhältnis super."

The problem came when I asked for change for a 20 pound English note so I could leave a tip after I paid for dinner. The change I was given was Scottish currency. I was told that English currency was not available. And while it may have the same value as English currency, it is not readily accepted in other parts of the UK or in overseas territories. I had a bit of a disagreement over...

"Stellar place! can’t say enough good about our stay here, such a lovely location not far from the City Centre but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!"

"A fantastic stay at Glen Lyon Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful Skye room, with a lovely view of the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The fresh milk for tea in the room was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent too. Don't miss Helen's delicious avocado toast and homemade porridge! The location is perfect, with restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance, and...

"I cannot review this property as it is permanently closed. We were not informed of this. Luckily we managed to get accommodation elsewhere but paid twice the price. "
