"Everything was nice for a cheap night stay. The railings on the 2nd floor corridor had huge gaps between the rails through which a full-grown adult person could fall through. Can be super dangerous for children. I urge the management to fix those railings."

"The hotel and the room are exactly as in the pics. The whole place is Cornell themed ans well done too. The room and bed were comfortable and spacious enough for 1 person. The beer on tap in the common area is very cool. Wouldn't mind staying again on my next trip. Shout out to the wonderful Kat for being so nice and chatty."

"Everything was okay. They made the rooms every day, which was nice. My room had a slow tub drain. I removed the stopper that allows you to stop water from draining, which helped. I am surprised that they did nothing to correct the issue. I left the stopper out, which was obvious to see. If they run the water, it fills up immediately."

"I was totally pleased with this hotel. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer staff. The breakfast was amazing. Lots to choose from hot and cold or like. The showerheads were super high, for we are all over 6 feet tall, and it was nice to actually stand under the shower and not have to bend our knees to get our face wet!"

If you're looking for affordable, safe, quiet, clean lodging close to Cornell and the Ithaca area the Embassy is the one. I have to return to the area soon and will be staying there if there are vacancies."

"What an exquisite property— the grounds, the house, the decor! The room is luxurious but only lacks in having a table to set things on (the closet is very small, too), but the room makes up for it in every other way. It was self check in with no host on site but communication was excellent and the next day, my husband ran into one of the managers, Nicole, who was a darling— so sweet and friendly and helpful. Trumansburg is a charming, very small town and 16 Elm is one of the nicest inns...

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodations, and fun amenities (complimentary s'mores, coffe & tea, board games, and, of course, on-going camp fires). We enjoyed the full service bar in the evening and the breakfast, featuring local goods, in the morning. Highly recommend!"
