"This was our third stay in Albergo San Lorenzo on our annual one month visit to Italy. On the way back home we like to visit the truffle fair in Alba on our way to Malpensa Airport in Milan. For the price this is an excellent location as they are one of the few hotels center town within walking distance to the fair that have parking. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite nice. "

"This is a very old minor castle that’s been converted to a hotel. There is no air conditioning, so some of the rooms on the upper floor can get quite warm in late summer. The property is in a very remote location in a tiny village surrounded by vineyard. There aren’t many options for eating, but the good news is that the food at this place is quite outstanding, some of the best food you can find anywhere. The hotel is run by a family with some of the friendliest staff we’ve seen anywhere. We...
