"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. It really did exceed all our expectations - the accommodation itself was luxurious and comfortable (we stayed in River), the setting was beautiful and the owners had thought of everything (separate shared kitchen, gas BBQ, robes for showers, heaters available...the list goes on).
