"CODE was a really nice hostel with friendly staff and well thought of design for most parts. The toilets were outside the room equipped with hairdryer so that people do not get disturbed. The pods were also comfy and they also had fans that you could borrow if you felt that the room was warm (Thank you!). The CODE also had many activities that you can experience which was really nice and i met nice fellow solo travellers through the activities (Eg. Pub quiz, walking tour, beer tasting, movie...

"The location at the bottom of the street near the Cowgate was ok but I needed to take into account the incline up to the high street. Closeness to station and transport is good. Breakfast adequate for the day’s excursions. Needed to get to bus station and did it in 20mins. At 80 years of age I was proud of myself! There were many senior citizens in the building. My only criticism would be not knowing the layout and procedure for food etc all doable."

"Wir hatten 3 Nächte in einem privaten Zimmer gebucht. Die privaten Zimmer liegen alle außerhalb des Haupthauses in einem anderen Gebäude. Die Zimmer, die Toiletten und Duschen sind alle neu und sehr schön. Das Ganze Gebäude scheint neu Renoviert zu sein. Man bekommt den Eindruck eher in einem Hotel zu sein. Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, viel Platz und Sitzgelegenheit. 4 Toiletten und 3 Duschen für 6 Zimmer sind mehr als ausreichend. Besonders zu loben ist die Küche. Auch alles neu und die...
