"The hotel is a very old mill from the 1600’s. You have to duck through the doorways and my husband could not stand up without hitting his head on a beam or the ceiling. "We were given a full tour of the boat we had reserved with instructions on how to start the engine to make hot water, starting the furnace, etc. but the number of beds had unexpectedly changed (Cru Houseboats was under new ownership since we booked our stay) and the requirements for operating the boat did not appeal to us so we did not stay there. The staff were extremely helpful in finding a hotel late in the day that was close by. "
