"The parking area gate was half open so luckily I didn’t need to park, as access seemed limited. Directions to reception were clear and easy to get to. Staff were polite and professional.
The rooms were small but clean, however there were no bins which I thought odd.
I didn’t come down for breakfast and think there should be an option for breakfast to be brought up or already in the room.
No kettle and teas which I thought was odd as well, but there were plenty of towels and the room had...
"Don’t judge a hotel by its frontage! Inside this little self service hotel the rooms are sound proofed, full of extras, modern, well kept, and the bed is really comfy. I stayed on a work trip and it was ideal, minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station. I was skeptical when seeing the front, inside it’s lovely. The lift is a very unique too (would’ve preferred stairs for the exercise though)."
"Struggled to find it at first but it was a lovely room, enjoyed being able to use the TV. Had 2 fans which was needed. When arrived back at the hotel late at night there was no room in the car park but a member of staff moved their car for us to be able to park.
Only downside which staff cannot control it is very loud, right next to pubs. Banging all night and fire alarm randomly went off at 1am which gave us a bit of a fright."
"I liked that the property is close to other services. Was clean, just the exception of a stale smell in the bathroom but I suppose that is what you get when there are no windows to open in bathrooms. It is an old premier inn."
"Everything was fine, clean, good parking. Short of a plug for the kitchenette sink and very noisy fall pipe in the shower room when our upstairs neighbours showered at 5.30 AM each morning (woke us thinking we had a leak). Apart from that, all good. Would certainly stay again"
"This is not a hotel. It is a house that rents rooms out. That said, it was clean and fine for a one night stay. I was not sent check in instructions, so I had to call them when I arrived to see how to access my room."
