"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. "Lovely, beautiful little old fashioned lodge for self-catering tucked away behind thick gardens abutted to a lovely old building on the outskirts of Alnwick. Its self-catering and had everything we needed, including good TV choice for the evenings and a strong wi-fi (in the lounge but not in kitchen). We just felt so at ease and relaxed in the evenings there. It may not be for everybody, say for example, those that like things to look modern. But for us with an eye to more homely back-in-the-day...
