"The property was really well maintained. the balcony has an excellent view of the volcano. the staff were very nice and accomodating. They were also very responsive when we messaged them. location of this property is also very good and close to all activities. A very excellent coffee and chocolate tour is right across the street from this property. a grocery store is also very close (30 second drive) to buy groceries. hot tub was clean and well maintained."
"The nicest place! Beautiful modern rooms, and the most incredible views onto a garden and the volcano out your door. This was our favourite place of our entire trip. They even provide a hammock to enjoy it all! We liked being a few minutes away from busier La Fortuna, and there are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance."
"Great place to stay! Single rooms are perfect if you'd like to have your privacy and do not want to spend on Hilton :) You have your own little bathroom included. Kitchen is tiny but equipped enough for guests' needs.
Reception staff is very helpful and will advise and organize everything you need during your stay in Monteverde.
One of the best hostels I've ever been.
Will miss that place!"
"It was an awesome stay at Jardines Arenal. This property is family owned and managed which made it great place to stay. The owner is a great person to talk to. We were offer a great breakfast. I would highly recommend this place."

The property was in a gated area and a little removed from the road but we still could hear the road at times. We found a roach in the bathroom and some tiny ants on the kitchen table when we first got in our room."
"Un lugar súper lindo, cercano del centro. La atención del personal es excelente, son muy serviciales y dan buena información. Las habitaciones muy limpias."
"Very clean and cozy stay . Very close to all the restaurants and market in the downtown. 5-10 walk to most of the places . Very quite and free parking space front of the room ."

The pictures online were NOT really an accurate representation of the rooms available and the room we had was outdated. This was ultimately what was upsetting to us, as we wouldn’t have booked this hotel if the room pictures were accurate.
The AC and wifi did work when we were there -those were the only amenities we...
