"This is a nice place. The owner was incredibly helpful when he learned that I had lost my luggage on the bus. He called the bus company to ask them to help find it. And I enjoyed talking with him about the local area, which he knows a lot about. "

"This is a simple but cosy hotel in a nice location at the top of the old town of Bardonecchia. The quadruple room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, plenty of storage, a clean and functional bathroom. Parking on site and even a small playground for the younger kids as well as the garden. Breakfast buffet was also good. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay, just what we needed at the end of our holiday."

Room was nice but, overlooking road at front of property, there was understandably some traffic noise with the window open. Bed a little soft for my taste. Shower and WC in room, not separated by screen or cubicle which is fine for a single occupancy but may be an issue for 2... The owner is a nice man; really helpful, friendly and accommodating. "Leslie was very informative, guiding us regarding buses, restaurants and ski hire. Based on the hotels locality this was invaluable. The breakfast was sufficient. The hotel was warm and cosy but didn’t offer any access to refreshments at the end of the day so bear that in mind when coming down from the mountains. "

The standards of cleanliness are very good, I have stayed in 4 star hotels that did not maintain such levels. I believe based on the modernisation downstairs that this could turn into a hidden gem with suffice support."
