Negatives: Parking was rough. Not many spaces and backing in/out was borderline dangerous. Day two we had some little spider ant looking things. Not sure if that is common or not?"

"Great location. Clean but a few bumps in need of repair. The showers with half doors are hard to control water on the floor. Loved the ease of walking MA NP. Very easy to meet tour guide next door. Parking is tight. Monkeys and birds to watch on the deck. Good breakfast. "

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"This was a beautiful room and set up. Our room had a large bathroom/shower, the bedroom/kitchen set up were open like a studio. The back patio and pool area were amazing. The only thing that was negative was that instead of going to explore beautiful Costa Rica I didn't want to leave my room! It is in a gated community, the suites have their own little parking lot. The one thing I was unsure of when I booked was if the pool was private and I mean it kinda is but other guests can...

"Very kind staff, the pool is a tad deeper than one would anticipate but was sup lovely to float around in after a long hot day; yummy breakfast freshly cooked for you; great view of the ocean; beautiful macaws flying around AND a/c! Would stay here again no hesitation!"

"If you like to stay in a well equipped lodge this is it. The room had large windows which overlooked the greenery and vegetation outside. No ac and tv. So you could hear every sound from the surrounding trees. Very good experience and best breakfast buffet."

"We enjoyed Havana Lodge very much. The staff are very helpful and kind. The Desayuno (breakfast) is fabulous and large every day. Pets are very welcome. The gorgeous, tranquil, beach is less than 5 minutes away. There are many lovely places to eat nearby. We didn't use them. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked and really nice kitchen. And the gas BBQ. The grounds are so tranquil and peaceful. We look forward to returning soon."
