I was asked for a further £100 insurance charge, we stayed on the Saturday night and this was not refunded to my account until Wednesday, 4 days later is unacceptable. This should have been refunded as soon as housekeeping had checked the room. There was a deduction of £3.80 with no explanation. We were looking forward to a good night sleep and a nice breakfast. "The room was clean & the kitchen was good for a short stay.Must say the property is very well located. The staff is excellent & they stored my luggage for a couple of hours,after check out,free of cost.Many thanks for that! However,I found the stairs extremely dirty and that was a put off!"

"Noisy in the very early hours of the morning. People snoring in the other rooms or even moving in the bed was disturbing and squeaky. Was only using it for a very few hours to sleep but it didn't serve the purpose. The landlady is very nice but being nice doesn't mean you get what you need as a basic place to rest"
