"I shouldn't expect too much from any hostel, including the Espy. I found what appeared to be a cockroach in the room the first night In the hallway, I dispatched of a very large one. I didn't receive an email with instructions for self check-in. Fortunately, there was someone who contacted a staff person who provided us with the necessary information to get in the room. Shower was good, but the handles fell off. Hot water in the sink never really got hot. Nonetheless, we got by and enjoyed...

"My room was a 4 person room which was decent overall. The pillows were small and not sufficient. The rooms a/c barely worked and the room had a damp / wet smell and feel the whole time. This is the perfect location in town if you want a party as they have stuff going on every night. The location is perfect for anything you would wanna do in town and the price was right for sure. "

"I was greeted in reception by the owner himself who is very knowledgeable and passionate about the island and it's amenities and activities. If needed, he runs a car hire business and also has a cash out ATM machine. The room was very well appointed, and clean. It had TV, wi-fi, and in-room coffee and bikkie service. There were dishes if you wanted to prepare food on the grill outside, or use the microwave. There are restaurants and a huge supermarket (IBIS) within easy walking distance. I went...

"Our stay here was pleasant . Good pressure from the shower , the aircon was perfect as the temperatures often reached mid/high 20s outside . The owners were lovely people and very accommodating to our requests etc . Within 5 minutes walk to eateries and convenience stores . If you are wanting a ground floor unit then please directly call the Hotel in person as this is the best way to make sure your requests will be heard . Laundry is $3 au for a wash and $3 for a dry .
