"Absolutely charming little inn tucked inside the Eldorado National Forest only a bit more than half hour past Lake Tahoe outside Carson City. You can’t imagine any setting much better! The room: pristine clean; modern, renovated, sheets soft as butter and a memory foam mattress you will think you are a baby in a cradle! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pretty new hardwood like flooring - no gross carpet. Heat lamp and plenty of hot water for shower. Only negative for us - no restaurant so we went a mile down the road to a 76 gas station and picked up giant pack of all beef Kirkland hot dogs $9.99, buns, and breakfast snacks. Came back and cooked them on the grill outside watching the beautiful sunset, and hearing the rapids of the American River. Several areas for relaxing, outdoor fire pits with plenty of wood. Pet friendly. Definitely will come again. "

"We had a wonderful time getting away for a long weekend with family. The house is beautiful and is very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. The kitchen with large central island was a favorite for hanging out, eating and playing games. The kitchen is appointed with luxury appliances. Having 6 acres of space including a Christmas tree farm was really fun for short walks and exploring. The nights are very dark with no city lights so the stars were really bright. Our host was very responsive. Highly recommend."
