"Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...
"A very cute place to stay in a lovely market town.
Parking nearby (free on Sundays and overnight).
Access to the rooms, due to the nature of the historic building, is not the easiest (uneven floors, narrow corridors and stairs). The room was absolutely lovely though; the bed was comfortable with quality bedlinen and pillows.
The breakfast buffet was welcome - a small table and chair would have been welcome.
A bedside light would have been welcome too.

"Very tatty at the back of the hotel was not fully open and it was an Indian restaurant. No breakfast. There was a toilet roll in the bathroom which was soiled on the side would not stay there again."
"Stayed for one night , the room was nice with a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good (full English) and staff very good. This should be described as a Bed & Breakfast not a Hotel."

They offed a reasonable menu and the food was excellent.
We found all the staff to be friendly one impartial was Liv she check to see if the room was ready as we were early and wanted to go out.We were meeting friends for lunch she came over to remind us of kitchen closing time and tell us about fish Friday deal,the service she gave throughout our stay was excellent she was so helpful"

Homely and full of character.
Owners were always available and helpful.

"Most of Westminster College is used for students. The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen. The breakfast included in the cost of the room is a full English breakfast, and was excellent. Be aware that the rooms are not cleaned daily - you can expect rooms to be cleaned every 3 days, however you can get extra supplies from Reception. I highly recommend the property."
