"Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...
"A very cute place to stay in a lovely market town.
Parking nearby (free on Sundays and overnight).
Access to the rooms, due to the nature of the historic building, is not the easiest (uneven floors, narrow corridors and stairs). The room was absolutely lovely though; the bed was comfortable with quality bedlinen and pillows.
The breakfast buffet was welcome - a small table and chair would have been welcome.
A bedside light would have been welcome too.

"Lovely little place and would stay again. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was lovely. Only thing I would say is need air-conditioning or fan as room was very hot. And no toiletries in bathroom"
"Very tatty at the back of the hotel was not fully open and it was an Indian restaurant. No breakfast. There was a toilet roll in the bathroom which was soiled on the side would not stay there again."
"Great place to stay for Forest Live. Hotel is lovely, warm and welcoming. It was a warm day so quite hot inside but we spent time outside in the huge gardens, the bar was open and we sat next to the river. Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and proper butchers sausages! The location is excellent for sightseeing, but it’s also right in the middle of Cambridge’s party zone, and the noise continues well into the early hours.
A good spot if you prioritise location above all else, but not ideal if you’re after comfort or a peaceful night."

"The property is attractive, room was lovely and clean, grounds were appealing and we had a room with French doors leading outside with a small table and chairs outside which was great for breakfast etc. There is a kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal which is a bonus if you fancy self catering.

"Most of Westminster College is used for students. The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen. The breakfast included in the cost of the room is a full English breakfast, and was excellent. Be aware that the rooms are not cleaned daily - you can expect rooms to be cleaned every 3 days, however you can get extra supplies from Reception. I highly recommend the property."
