"Had a lovely stay. The room was nice and clean. Really cosy interiors as well. Bed super comfy and the shower was excellent. Really appreciated them accepting a later checkout as well. Would definitely stay again ."

"Amazing place. Highly suggest staying here."

"First impression on arrival, front of house could do with some maintenance (weeding). Suite 5*Tap in bathroom had soap marks and hair shavings. Pillows were too hard and mattress was uncomfortable, could feel the springs with every movement we made. Website said city view, but this wasn’t the case,(disappointed). On a positive note, service was good overall. Would stay there again if mattress was more comfy."

"Not worth it "

"I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

"Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay."
