"For an overnight stay on a budget, this was fantastic. The bed was comfy, decent pillows and duvet, the sheets and towels were lovely and clean and I really liked the brand of toiletries. The hotel/pub is really big and could do with some updating, but this would needs huge investment, so I'm not surprised at overall condition, but it's functional, clean and tidy. "Warm welcome when we arrived and shown to our room which was very spacious and clean with a beautiful view from our balcony of the river and surrounding fields. Food was excellent and a good choice of beers. Dog friendly which was very important to us. Park and Ride to Bath CC was so convenient and close by. We will definitely stay at the Boathouse next time we visit Bath"
