"Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating— from reception, to the restaurant staff and the proshop (if you are a golfer, there is a great golf course to get in a round or two, which we did). We arrived on a Sunday, and there was an excellent “carvers dinner” that evening. We were accommodated without reservations. The restaurant (beautiful golf course views) is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for guest breakfasts (very good), so Cherry arranged for sandwiches for us to take...

"the room was comfortable but the whole property was quite clean though quite shabby and the bathroom was damp and there wasn't enough toilet roll and no spares available. the bed was comfortable and bedding clean and fresh. If you think that you are getting the place to yourself as the advert suggests then do not be fooled as you are not. That being said it was pretty quiet other than take away being delivered at 11pm and being in the room next to the front door. The location was really good...
