"It was like sleeping in a forest cabin. The outside was a bit deceiving but once we met the hosts and saw our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The exterior is in need of a little fresh paint but very comfortable with a family friendly stove heater with soft fire (very warm and adjustable). The bedding was so soft, lofty, and fresh. Just a few miles from Big Trees State Park and downtown Murphy’s (both a must see). "

"The cabin was great - such a pretty spot surrounded by the forest! Nick also was great - very communicative and helpful. Everything worked as advertised, the beds were comfortable and Nick and his cleaning service were accommodating and helpful in facilitating us stopping back by after checkout to grab a jacket we had forgotten/left hanging on a hook behind the front door. Thank you Nick!"

"A very cozy cabin, exactly as pictured. The kitchen is nicely updated and was well stocked for a family who did a lot of cooking during their stay. The beds were comfortable and it was a peaceful space with beautiful forest views. There were a few issues that need repair, which we mentioned to the host. The dishwasher wasn't screwed in and tipped forward when loaded with dishes, which made it challenging to use. A few spots could have been cleaned better, but otherwise we had a lovely stay."

"Such a great place. Love the spacious cabin, well-stocked kitchen and plenty of games (board games, card games, jigsaw puzzles etc) and a foosball table! A nice feature is that it also has a kids room with bunk beds (sleeps 7-8 kids). The kids really enjoyed having their own room. Plenty of firewood too, for the 2 fireplaces (1 on each floor) to heat up the cabin. There is also a portable electric heater for each bedrooms. Host is also really responsive about queries. The housekeeper even came...
