I was a little hesitant about paying the deposit thru link after learning that many scammers work that way, but it was the only way since it is a self check in. "We loved our stay at Hotel Muralto and highly recommend it. The property is conveniently located near public transportation (a bus stop right out the door and train station a 5 minute walk). It's a 10 minute walk to old town Locarno, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is well maintained, the room was spotless and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, the air conditioning was welcome and refreshing (we were in Switzerland...
"We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and the view from the window was absolutely amazing — overlooking the lake. Waking up to such a beautiful view was a wonderful experience.
The only downside was that the hotel does not have an elevator. We were given a room on the top floor, and carrying our suitcases up the stairs was quite difficult.
Apart from that, everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this...
"What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"

"Ich bin schon 7x in dem Hotel gewesen liegt Zentral und Preis Leistung mit Frühstück gut.Aber nun den gestrigen auf Heute Aufenthalt war nicht gut.Bekam das kleinste Zimmer Nr.63.Bett schmal und die Matratze fühlte sich an wie 1 Brett.Habe schon früh gebucht für den 26./27.06.Hoffe auf ein besseres Zimmer wie früher."
