"Nice hotel "

"Demanded a cash security deposit at check in, would not accept a credit card. No ice available at the hotel, had to call a grocery store. Most surprisingly - no towels in the bathroom. Called reception and they sent 2 bath towels, no hand or face towels. TV didn’t work. "

"We flew in to Dubai from Australia early in the morning for a three day stay en route to Spain. Florida al Souq welcomed us and arranged early check in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Florida al Souq is a great place to stay in the older part of Dubai with lots of places to eat nearby. Also only a short distance on the metro to and from the airport."

"Great hotel. Staff were highly attentive and helpful. Loved the location as we wanted a few days away from the city and no better way to start the day than by having breakfast on the patio overlooking the fairway. Food was somewhat disappointing as buffet breakfast items were only ever just lukewarm. Despite the disappointment with the food, would certainly stay there again."

"The hotel is in a good location, close to the metro station, bus stop, many restaurants and convince stores around and walking distance to the Mall of Emirates. The area feels safe. The apartments are of a good size, I liked the layout of the one we were staying, which was 1 bedroom apartment. I agree with other reviews about need of an upgrade. The furniture, bathrooms and floors are outdated. A renovation is scheduled since April 2024 until the end of the year. With a good upgrade, that would...

"Excellent quality for the price! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi , AC, and the lift( although small) worked very well. The bathroom tiles in our room are a bit old and need refurbishing but it was clean and the water flow was very good. The situation near the Union metro station is very convenient for visiting Dubai and only 5 stops from the airport. I recommend this hotel if you can’t afford expensive hotels in the modern part of Dubai. "

"I made a booking through Hotels.com and had the confirmation with me but they say that they have no such booking. Because I had no where to go, I had to book another room at prime rate"
