"Highly recommend to young and experienced travelers. We got in and they showed us to our comfortable room. The bathroom and the kitchen were upstairs. It worked for me as I was able to sleep ten hours through the night. It was great to meet friendly travelers and enjoy breakfast and snacks with them. With all the cereal and bread I imagine many nomads have caught up on lost meals. "

It was unfortunate that my room was behind reception and next to dining room so more noise than I’d have preferred but it was a single room which I’m guessing are limited. Very clean, bed comfortable, tea & coffee in room, nice breakfast and friendly service throughout. Would definitely stay again. "

"We originally had a deluxe double however on check in realised it didn't have a shower, was a bit misleading on the hotel pages as it says 'bath or shower' so could have been a bit clearer. However we spoke to the staff and they swapped our room so it turned out fine :) The hotel is in a lovely location, very short walk to the centre so nice and peaceful"

"Lovely property and lovely staff at pub. Great food and drink and very friendly service. Amazing value stay. Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. "The owner and staff are lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Unfortunately the room needs some upgrading and TLC, the sink didn’t work and the carpet was rather grimy. The toilets and showers are in need of repair and cleaning, we had breakfast once but again it wasn’t overly clean so decided to go elsewhere after that. Really friendly and welcoming group of people."
