"Great little room... walking distance from the tourist strip. Clean and comfortable. Manager was not on site when I arrived, and had to call her. The showers were pretty average and I had to request the hot water be put on. Air con worked really well. It's a budget style hostel/hotel. I'd stay there again, but with lower expectations."
"The owner was wonderful and very helpful in arranging ferry tickets and tours of the island. The rooms were clean and comfortable for the price. There is significant noise that comes from the street at night and street lights lighting up the room for the entire night."
"Staff was very friendly and very helpful when we had some issues (issues not related to the hotel stay). The staff tried their best to be accommodating!"
"The Tortuga bay suite is right by the street so you hear the street noise until about 10:30pm on workdays and about 11:30pm on a Friday. The air conditioner doesn’t work well. It makes a noise at night and is quite disturbing. With the many mosquitoes, we could not open the windows and it was quite a terrible experience to sleep at night. The soap and shampoo/body wash are diluted. The fridge is incredibly noisy and you cannot sleep with it being on. The plates are dirty and require extra...
"I had a terrible experience with Natura Gardens.
I arrived at 2:30 pm to find no one there and no information on checking in or how to contact anyone. I waited 2 hours and then walked up the road to find help. I found a man who made a phone call and said someone would be over shortly. I returned to the hotel and after 45 minutes a couple showed up. It was 6:30 pm and I was very hot and frustrated. I don’t speak much Spanish and they didn’t speak English but eventually they called someone. I...

Compared to the other islands it is more expensive, but has more facilities. Restaurants were busy, lots of places to buy most things. It is easy to walk to town as long as you are prepared for the heat. Some lovely beaches and snorkelling spots.

Easy place to walk around. Loads of supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, tour agencies. A bus runs into the Highlands for a dollar, to see the tortoise ranch. See loads of small sharks and stingrays at night by the pier.

The Galapagos are beautiful and the 85% humidity and 30 degree C temps make it a hot venue. Be prepared to spend CASH everywhere - using taxis is expected. Visiting any other neighbouring island will cost $25 USD each way pp.

"Rooms are spotless, very clean with good pressure for hot shower. Our room had issue with the AC one night and they fixed it so quickly by noon next day. The working team there is also very nice and friendly. The location is very walkable. Would recommend staying here."
"The front desk (young men) are really professional helpful and nice, besides the property manager was very professional and helpful thanks Fernandina I highly recommend "
"This was an oasis every day as we came back from our excursions. It is absolutely central and walkable within a 1 minute walk to restaurants, shops, and 3 min from the port, yet on a side street so peaceful. Capitan Max was accesible all the time providing info, making our breakfast, handing us towels and a backpack to the beach. The place is so beautifully decorated, the rooms even have a hammock, and the breakfasts are delicious and abundant. Also, there is always avail water, tea, hot cocoa, and bananas on the counter throughout the day. Everything was excellent!"
"amazing hotel and the best service the pool is the perfect spot to see seals, sea turtles, sting rays, sharks and pelicans , at night it’s quiet and the room was perfect. loved especially
my balcony overlooking the docks. "
