"Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected. A kettle would have been a bonus but hopefully in the upgrades this will be available. We loved stunning Altea - and the view from the roof was amazing, we would definitely come back to the area. "Lovely little place, very friendly and extremely helpful staff, mostly Spanish custom, I think I only spoke to one other British visitor in the whole fortnight! Big Carp in the lake if you're into fishing, only problem being the access needs making a bit more disabled friendly. Could do with a bit more choice on the menu, but what there was, was very nice."

"Best thing about this hotel - first drop off and last pick up for the airport transfers. 3 min walk to the beach. Brilliant for couples as old town is on the doorstep. 25/35 min walk to the square which is easy enough to find. Clean hotel room. Wasn't expecting much as its quite small and 'local' but really powerful shower and lovely staff who served us solaros at 1am each night. Would definitely go back."

"Very nice place to spend the night when visiting Guadalest. It’s only ten minutes away from the town and the castle. The location is blessed by a wonderful view of the whole valley down to the Mediterranean. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is excellent."

"The price was much too high for what you received. The bedrooms were tiny with no touches of "niceness". The breakfast was much too basic, and was a huge disappointment. In the end, it was somewhere to JUST spend the night. Our family was incredibly disappointed. The grounds and general entrance to the hotel were ugly and not at all kept up. We kept on thinking about the potential that this location actually had. They could have half of the rooms that they do, but increase the size of the ones...
