"Hotel Encanto in Cahuita offers a caribbean paradise on the south eastern shore of Costa Rica. Our room overlooked their beautiful garden filled with poison dart frogs, iguanas and various species of birds. We enjoyed daily breakfasts provided by the hotel, a complimentary welcome drink, happy hours, amenities and a quick walk to the beach and Cahuita National Park. Include this corner of paridise in you visit to Costa Rica!

"I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience."

"Overall it was a fine stay, but I believe it’s not worth the price paid. On one side it has hot shower, aircon, big smart TV, shared kitchen, great location and a comfortable bed; however on the other side it’s a bit run down inside the room, not properly finished & needs a deep clean on the shower. Our cabin was noisy from the unit upstairs and woke us up at 7am due to the noise, and there was also a water pump outside making noise every few seconds. The communication was also a bit poor when...
"A great property to stay at for the real experience of local life! Weather was great, no electronics, we will boom this place every time we visit Costa Rica! Close by the local shops and food!
Thank you for the experience!! Host was amazing!!"
"Fantastic Host and staff. I was able to stay in two different locations here. The beach access was awesome if you’re looking for something away from the public beaches. Those can be crowded on the weekends. Across the street are an Italian and Argentinian restaurant, both very good. You can rent a bike or motorcycle as well at a shop about a 100m down the road. For me it was the perfect location that wasn’t in the crowded towns but not too remote."
"Sehr guter Standard der Apartments. Überall Klimaanlage. Ruhig, aber nicht weit weg von Restaurants und Lebensmittelgeschäften. Wenn man am Pool sitzt, kann man Affen auf den umliegenden Bäumen sehen und auch hören. Es war ein wirklich sehr schöner Aufenthalt dort. Man kann sich sofort wohlfühlen "
"We loved the Villas Andes so much. We stayed in Section F in Villa Caiman with a Garden View. The location was perfect for us and the accommodations likewise. The villa was much bigger than expected and we loved having a full kitchen which we used. There is a Supermercado close by and we shopped for our stay. The way the Villas are situated when you are staying in them, you feel like nowhere else exists. You are in a jungle paradise. We loved the section we stayed in because the pool and outdoor...
"Property was walking distance to the beaches and town center. Pool was awesome! There's an area with hammocks tables and grill to cook out. We also had a kitchenette in our balcony. It was great cooking outside with the warm breeze. We also had a hammock where we spent a lot of our time listening to the nature sounds. The owner and staff were super friendly and always made sure we were good. "

The room and facilities were very nice, breakfast was good. But the main reason for our very favorable review is how the entire staff and the owners were so helpful. They spent lots of time talking to us and had useful recommendations on what to do, where to go, what to eat, and in general gave a wonderful introduction to the area. Above and beyond what we have experienced at similar properties.

Let me start by saying we had originally planned on staying only two nights, but then left our highly rated and fully paid for hotel to return to this gem. Why? It is new, immaculate, beautiful, with ice cold AC, large shower with plenty of hot water, a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, private patio with hammocks ( and hot coffee waiting each am), sloths, parrots, kinkajous, a private path to the beach, beautiful gardens and pool, delicious big breakfast, really wonderful staff, attention...

Marcellino and his wife were wonderful and gracious hosts. Cabins are wonderful but could use AC on the steamy nights. Grounds are immaculately kept and secure. 200 meters to the beach doesn't hurt. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Marise was a great host. She gave us a bag of great Costa Rican coffee upon arrival and cooked us a delicious breakfast our second night. The location was perfect. This was a beautiful, literally just opened (only 4 weeks at the time of our stay) hotel. With literally no available reviews, we took a chance on staying here vs the more established Le Cameleon hotel and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lauren who offered us very refreshing and delicious cocktails.
Check-in was very quick and efficient and we were shown the amenities of the lush property which included a small spa, pool, and very nice "high end"...

A small paradise in the jungle and few steps from the beach!
Be prepared to wake up hearing howler monkeys. The property is located in the middle of a wildlife passage, so you can see monkeys, sloths, green macaws and many types of birds.
This is the place to disconnect from the noise of the city and simply enjoy the gift of nature.
Make sure you wake up early enough to capture an amazing sunrise on the beach.

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff is great and since it’s a small hotel, you feel like family. The grounds and room are updated very nicely. The beach is beautiful and quiet, only a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant and bar is excellent. I didn’t want to eat anywhere else because the food was so good.

Angelo was so helpful with after hours check in. This place is adorable. The room had a kitchen and that is a great addition if you are staying longer than a night. The pool was nice and refreshing. There is an outdoor sitting space outside your room that is nice as well.
